Today was day 1 of me living like Gwyneth Paltrow for a week for an article. Aside from having to listen to Coldplay for hours (not really) I have to exercise like her (two hours of extreme pilates every day for six days) and eat like her. She’s got a new recipe book out based on the fact that her doctor recently told her to cut a load of stuff out of her diet (carbs, wheat, dairy, alcohol, caffeine, joy) and left her able to eat basically only these three things: salmon, humus and vegetables.

Thankfully my lovely local, The Oak and Pastor covers two of these food groups, so D and I headed there for dinner. Trying not to cry at the sight of D tucking into a rather juicy steak, I had a very nice roasted salmon salad with a side of tenderstem broccoli and roasted aubergine. Gwyneth would have surely approved. The smug cow.
